The Male Sterility in Rice Plant Induced by CRMS: I. Effect of CRMS on male Sterility in rice plants

CRMS诱导水稻雄性不育的研究:Ⅰ.CRMS诱导水稻雄性不育的效果

Abstract: The experiments were carried out in 1985-1989 in paddy field of CNRRI. The results show that 1) CRMS is a new gametocide. With application during panicle formation stage, CRMS could induce male sterility up to 95-100%. Meiotic stage is the best sensitive stage for inducing male sterility by CRMS. The CRMS treated plants delayed the heading date for 2-3 days. The height of treated plants could be reduced by about 5-10 cm. This reduction was mainly due to the reduction of the length of the first and second internode counted from the bottom. 2) There were 3 types of effection of rice male sterility inducedby CRMS: sexual dissimilation, pollen sterility and anther unslit.

摘要: CRMS是一种新筛选出的雄配子诱杀剂,经1985~1989年5年的田间试验,表明于水稻雌雄蕊原基分化至花粉充实期喷施CRMS,诱导不育效果明显,自交败育率可达95~100%,自然结实率可达30%左右;井延迟抽穗期2~3 d,降低株高5~10 cm。CRMS诱导水稻雄性不育的形式有三种:性别异化,花粉败育,花药不裂开。
